HONG KONG -- The world's gambling paradise has been down on its luck recently. With high rollers staying away from its slot machines and blackjack tables, Macau is shifting its focus from gaming to family-friendly resort activities in hopes of attracting visitors from among mainland China's growing middle class.
On Wednesday, Galaxy Entertainment Group opened Galaxy Macau Phase 2, part of its all-inclusive resort in Cotai.
