'BSY misused power as CM'
MYSURU: Chief minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday accused former CM B S Yeddyurappa of misusing power.
"He behaved arrogantly when he ruled the state. Now he is labelling me as arrogant. People know who behaved irresponsibly and misused power," he told reporters.
Responding to Yeddyurappa's jibe that Siddaramaiah is the most arrogant CM in 25 years, he said: "I had taken on Yeddyurappa and his governance while speaking at the rally in Davanagere.
It has not gone down well with him. Truth is bitter always." Siddaramaiah said he didn't speak much about his achievements of two years as the government has published a booklet and distributed to the people. "I criticized the BJP leaders and the NDA government. It was not personal," he said.
Siddaramaiah thanked PM Narendra Modi for signing an agreement with the Chinese government to promote Karnataka's interest during his visit. He said he could not join the PM on the China tour as he was informed very late about it.
Siddaramaiah said he has replied to the notice served on him in relation to the Arkavathy denotification case but refused to divulge details. He also denied that the information and public relations and Haj minister Roshan Baig has promoted his son in advertisements released by the government.
