Three students, who studied in the city, are among the top ten rankers of the Telangana State EAMCET 2015, in the engineering and medical streams.

Bhogi Keerthana is from Bobbili where her father Satyanarayana Gupta is running a wholesale medicines business. Her mother Revathi came here to share the joy of her daughter’s success. Keerthana was happy to finish among top ten but her aim is to get a seat in IIT, of which she is confident.

Paraselli Sai Teja, who secured fourth rank in medical stream, is from Srikakulam district and his father Narayana Rao is working as a teacher at Kudigam village on Odisha border. B. Shanmukha Keertana secured eighth rank and her father Ramesh is a urologist in the city.

Both Keertana and Sai Teja are appearing for the AIIMS and JIPMER entrance tests and are confident of doing well in the tests also.

Interestingly both secured 152 marks in EAMCET and their ranks were decided on the basis of marks they scored in Intermediate.

All the three studied at Narayana Sri Chaitanya institutions.
