OPINION:
In 2009 the “reset policy” of the current U.S. presidential administration unleashed the Russian terror in the world by giving Vladimir Putin the green light to pursue his KGB/FSB profession not only as former FSB chief, but as president of Russia. Mr. Putin knew that America would not confront him if he continued to kill more than 50,000 Chechens, 6,000 Ukrainians, 36 journalists, 293 Russian apartment dwellers (in order to frame Chechnya) and opposition leader Boris Nemtsov.
Russian expansion and aggression has grown and became bolder in Europe, Latin America and Asia. It now culminates in the sale of S-300 air defense systems to Iran, development of the new T-14 tank superior to U.S. and western ones. As U.S. Air Force generals say, in just two years it will surpass American air-superiority technology, destroying our all-important edge in air-to-air battle.
The Obama administration is ‘torpedoing’ the U.S nuclear Navy, according to a former secretary of the Navy, by bypassing the President Ronald Reagan executive order which kept nuclear ships accident-free, safe and within budget. The Reagan executive order kept more than 900,000 bureaucratic and political appointees — with their wasteful spending and mindless requirements — away from the nuclear Navy. Protecting nuclear programs from such endlessly self-promoting, clueless individuals is crucial because such people have destroyed many an Army, Air Force and Navy program, and will do same to the nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers and missiles.
