Shriya Pilgaonkar wants to direct a film soon

Actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar���s daughter Shriya may soon follow in her dad���s footsteps as she has a strong inclination towards direction.
Shriya���s documentary Panchgavya, which she has co-directed along with a Japanese filmmaker Hana Kitasei Reckart, was screened in Toronto sometime back. One wonders if she has any plans to foray into film direction.
When we caught up with her, the petite dimpled girl said, ���Of course, I have plans to direct a feature film! I have directed short films and documentaries in the past, but I definitely want to direct a film soon.I have a few subjects in mind that I am developing, but right now I am focusing all my energies on acting. I want more experience on a film set before I make my own feature film.���
Well, seeing the way her work is appreciated by her peers, we are sure her debut feature film as a director will also have a lasting impact.
