Gulzar sahab- I wish to visit Bhopal again and again

The ongoing Iftekhar festival at Bharat Bhavan had a very special guest on Friday — Gulzar sahab.
The renowned lyricist was accompanied by actors Lubna Salim, Harsh Chhaya and director Salim Arif for the showcase of the play Humsafar, which was presented at the festival.

Speaking to the audience after the event, Gulzar sahab recollected his first memories from the city, saying, “Around 30 years ago, I had come to Bhopal for the film Koshish and at that time, we had also worked with some specially-abled children from the city… So many cultural programmes keep happening here that I wish to come here again and again.Every artiste wishes to perform at least once at Bharat Bhavan. Even though I don’t perform, I feel the necessity to come here and you people should be proud to be a Bhopali.”
