Comedian Thagubothu Ramesh Wedding: Dhanraj, Venu, Telugu Stars Attend Ceremony [PHOTOS]

Popular Tollywood comedian Thagubothu Ramesh, whose real name is Ramesh Ramilla, tied the knot with Swathi in Nizamabad on Thursday, 28 May.

It is an arranged marriage for Thagubothu Ramesh and Swathi, who recently got engaged at a private ceremony. Swathi is the daughter of Gosu Satyanarayana from Bhikkanur village. The couple got married at 8.22 am (Mithuna Lagnam) on Thursday. Their wedding was held at Varalakshmi Garden in Ashok Nagar Colony, Kamareddy, Nizamabad.

Thagubothu Ramesh's wedding was a private affair, which was attended by his relatives and close friends such as Dhanraj, Venu and some other Telugu Stars. The comedian has planned to host a grand wedding reception for his colleagues in the film industry. This event will take place at Hotel Daspalla, Jubilee Hills, near Madhapur Hyderabad at around 7.30 pm on 30 May.

Passing out from Akkineni Film Institute in 2006, Thagubothu Ramesh started his career as character artiste with "Jagadam" in 2007. He shot to fame through his amazing performance in 2011 hit Telugu movie "Ala Modalaindi". He has featured in over 30 movies in his entire career and today, he is one of the most sought after comedians in the Telugu film industry.

Thagubothu Ramesh has played a variety of characters such as drunkard, hero's friend, Flower boy, thief, college senior, wedding planner, auto driver, Kulfi vendor and a few others. Among them, his role as the drunkard made him very popular among the youth.

The comedian has worked with popular young actors such as Junior NTR, Naga Chaitanya, Allari Naresh, Ram, Nithin, Nani, Nikhil Siddharatha, and a few others. In the last eight years, he has made many friends in the Telugu film industry, who are expected to attend his wedding reception.
