The Colorado chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is offering tickets to a speech by noted Colorado State University professor Temple Grandin at the group’s state convention on June 5 in Lone Tree.

Grandin, an animal science professor at CSU, is one of the best known adults with autism in the country and a best-selling author. She was the subject of a 2010 biographic film on HBO named “Temple Grandin.”

She will be speaking at the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows, 10345 Park Meadows Drive, beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available online at grandin.eventzilla.net.They are $25 for individuals and $60 for groups of up to four.

Her keynote presentation will be followed by a dessert reception, according to members of Omega State Delta Kappa Gamma.

Omega State is the Colorado chapter of the international group dedicated to bringing together, honoring and forwarding the interests of women educators.

The Omega State group’s annual state convention is June 5-7.
