RENAULT want to cash in with the unveiling of its new Kwid crossover aimed squarely at the emerging Indian car buying market.
Essentially a rebadged budget Dacia Duster, the Kwid is hoped to attract aspirational young professional families boasting a host of modern technology all for an on the road price of between £3,000 and £4,000 depending on specification.
Despite what UK customers would view as bargain basement prices, it’s clear the French car maker views the use of its Renault grille badge as a premium brand in the Asian market.
