Lubna Salim is back on TV after five years

Optimystix Entertainment Pvt Ltd has managed a casting coup of sort by roping in seasoned actress Lubna Salim for their next project, which will air on Sony Entertainment Television.
The actress, who was last seen in the TV show 'Mera Naam Karegi Roshan' (2010), is returning to television after a gap of almost five years.

While she remained unavailable for comment, a source associated with the show reveals, “It’s a futuristic show, set in 2020 and all the characters will have a modern outlook towards life.They will also be seen in ulta-modern avatars. Apart from Lubna, actress Sharmilee Raj also has been finalised for a pivotal role. Garima Jain will play sister to the protagonist in the show.”
Lubna, who needs no introduction, has featured in several TV shows, including Ek Packet Umeed (2008) and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby (2010). She was also seen as Paresh Rawal’s wife in the Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG — Oh My God.
