Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) conducted ‘Aapke Dwaar,’ a programme to reach out to the subscribers, at Suchindram near here recently.
A press release said that the programme was attended by workers of industries in Suchindram and Kanyakumari areas.
Presiding over the programme, Commissioner of Employment Provident Fund Office, Nagercoil, P. Senthil Kumar, said that the programme was aimed at familiarising PF subscribers to Universal Account Number (UAN) and various benefits available to them.
The subscribers were given a demonstration on how to activate the UAN on EPFO’s websites www.epfindia.gov.in and www.epfindia.com.
Other initiatives of the EPFO were also explained. In an interactive session, PF subscribers sought clarifications on benefits of schemes and e-enabled services launched in the recent past.
