Modi flooded India with projects: Dhumal

Hamirpur, May 26

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flooded the country with development projects and took the country out of the clutches of corruption during the BJP government’s one year in power.

This was stated by former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal while addressing a press conference here today. He said those who had rule the country for over 60 years had deprived poor and downtrodden people of their basic rights. Besides, they had no right to ask Modi about the one-year report card.

Dhumal said Modi had not only restored the dignity of the country on the international forum, but also paved the way for India to be the next world leader.

The former CM said it was a matter of pride that in the past year not even a single issue of corruption had surfaced in the country which was a common feature with the UPA government. He said the country had experienced “policy paralysis” during the Manmohan Singh-led UPA government and countries around the world had counted India as a corrupt nation and avoided investing here. — OC
