Sana Altaf turns paraglider for Rani Padmini
Sana Altaf is on cloud nine, literally. We hear that the Mariyam Mukku fame actress is all set to slip into the shoes of a paraglider in Aashiq Abu’s next, Rani Padmini. The pretty actress is excited about experiencing the adventure sport for the first time in her life. “I have never tried out any adventure sport in my life and so when the opportunity to play the character of a paraglider in Rani Padmini came up, I was not at all scared, but more excited.
It’s a good character and what’s more, I will get to act alongside Manju Warrier and Rima chechi,” says Sana, who is yet to join the ongoing shoot in Manali.
True to her characters, Sana is fiery and vibrant in real life too. The actress, who is a black belt in karate, says, “I love martial arts. In fact, our family can be termed as a karate family. My dad and uncle are black belts and we train regularly as well.” However the actress says that she couldn’t use her karate skills much in her real life. “Since its main purpose is self-defense, I haven’t got any opportunity to make us of use it, but it has given me a lot of self-confidence to face challenges.”
Meanwhile, Sana had to opt out of Binu S’ Unni Mukundan-starrer. “I was planning to do the movie but had to back out owing to date clashes. Right now, I am only doing Rani Padmini,” she signs off.
