Film City firing: Three arrested for murder bid

According to the police, the plot to kill Shinde was hatched a month ago by four men.

The Aarey police arrested three men on Monday for allegedly hatching a conspiracy to kill film set builder Raju Shinde in Film City.

These men include the owner of the motorbike in which the assailants rode while executing the crime and two other men who recceed the area, the police said. The accused were arrested from Mumbai on Monday. They will be produced before a magistrate on Tuesday, after which we will interrogate them about the crime,” said Fateh Singh Patil, additional commissioner of police, North region.

According to police, among the accused, 22-year-old Sumit Talekar is the owner of the motorbike, Yogesh Kokane is a cable operator based in Jogeshwari and Jugal Dodiya is unemployed.
