Why no big singers in Baahubali?
Baahubali is making news as it has some big names of Tollywood (Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anoushka, Tamannah and Ramya Krishna), Kollywood (Satyaraj) and Sandalwood (Sudeep) coming together for the epic movie. In fact, it is not just the actors who are creating a buzz but even a big singer! The fans wanted to know as to why the music director MM Keeravani chose to ignore the big time singers for the first part of Baahubali. Well, Keeravani had an interesting answer. In his Facebook page, Keeravani said, “Some fans seem to be disappointed that there are no any big names in Baahubali singers list, let me tell them here is a BIG name - Behara Venkata Naaga Santoshi Hanuma Krishna Ramya and we simply call her Ramya.” Well, her name is really big indeed.

The Baahubali movie which was supposed to be released in May second week has now been postponed to June. Meanwhile, Baahubali’s audio will be released on May 31. The music album for Baahubali - The Beginning (first part) has lyricists K Shaivashakthidatta, Chaithanya Prasad, Ramajogayya Shasthry, Anantha Sriram , Inaganti Sundar, Noel Sean and Adithya penning songs while the songs are sung by Sathya Yamini, Shwetha Raj, Geethamadhuri, Ramya Behara, Mounima, Damini, Mohana, Karthik, Deepu, Revanth, Adithya and MM Keeravani.

Keeravani to retire next year

Meanwhile, Keeravani had also announced his retirement from composing music on December 8, 2016! Now, one wonders as to why Keeravani has chosen the date as December 8. Well, Keeravani says, “I recorded my first song on December 9, 1989 at Prasad Studios, Chennai. The very day, I fixed my retirement day to be December 8, 2016 which I am planning to celebrate the day with my close associates and musicians. Most of the directors don’t take advices, I work with the directors those honour my feelings. That’s the reason for my lesser movies year by year, and I am happy about it. It is indeed a gradual retirement. Not an overnight one!” With some of the abusive comments on the FB over his music, Keeravani chose to reply like this, “Some people are not able to bare my loads and loads of latest music and want me to stop my career or they want their mothers and fathers to stop enjoying their kind of music!! I am eagerly waiting for more people who hate YE SHWAASALO song!
