Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Pawan Kumar Gupta in presence of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary flagged off the Mela Kheer Bhawani Yatra at from DC office complex Udhampur, here this morning. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister congratulated the yatris and wished that this Mela Kheer Bhawani will usher the state in the era of peace, prosperity and success. The District Administration Udhampur and Zonal Officer Migrants, Relief Zone Udhampur have made adequate arrangements of food, drinking water, medicare, bus service etc for the convenience of the yatris. Among others present were Joint Director Planning, Mr. Rakesh Jamwal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mr. Rajeev Magotra, Zonal Officer Relief Zone Udhampur, Mrs. Spana Kotwal, Tehsildars Relief, Mr. Ved Parkash and Mr. Romesh Singh and prominent citizens of the district.
