A delegation of the Shri Amarnathji Barfani Langars Organisation (SABLO) called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, at the Raj Bhavan here today.The deputation led by Vijay Thakur, President and Rajan Gupta, General Secretary of SABLO, represented a number of requirements and demands relating to the management of Yatra 2015. The Governor gave them a patient hearing and asked the CEO to determine agreeable approaches wherever feasible and practical from the security point of view. Emphasizing the need to protect the environment in the Yatra area, the Governor reiterated the crucial importance of ensuring that every Langar organizations takes all required steps to maintain hygienic conditions in and around its premises during the entire Yatra and at the time of winding up its services. Mr. P.K. Tripathi, Principal Secretary to Governor and Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Mr. Jitendra K. Singh, Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Board attended the meeting.
