Two young persons were taken into custody for questioning in connection with the alleged abduction and molestation of a girl at Padugupadu village in the Kovur mandal of Nellore District on Monday.
The sources said that the girl, whose identity was not being revealed, was sent to hospital for medical examination. The girl’s relatives had demanded thorough investigation into the case, seeking stringent action against the culprits.
