LAHORE (Web Desk) – The musician who introduced electronic dance music into mainstream pop back in 1993 with her album ‘Debut’, Björk has now made a remix of living legend of international music scene, Abida Parveen.

Björk who is known to be able to blend instruments the best way possible has played with some eastern tunes this time as she remixed Parveen’s music for birthday anniversary of Triangle Records in the United States (US).

The Icelandic artist reveals in her dedication that she wrote on her soundcloud handle that Parveen is among one of her most favourite vocalists.

She wrote that the mix she played was her present to them (Triangle Records).

“Merging together some of my fav beats last year with some of my fav vocalists,” she wrote.

The queen of blends has had at least 30 singles bag positions in top 40 numbers of both US and United Kingdom (UK) charts in her career. She got nominated for at least 13 Grammys, one Academy and two Golden Globes.

This time she tried her magic over eastern music and chose Parveen’s tunes to do so.
