Jo Brand on Grayson Perry

Jo Brand visits Grayson Perry’s Provincial Punk exhibition at Turner Contemporary in Margate.

Jo Brand has gone from being the edgiest stand-up on the 1980s comedy circuit, to one of our most popular onscreen personalities. In her Private View film for BBC iPlayer, she gets exclusive access to the latest exhibition of Grayson Perry's work at Turner Contemporary in Margate.

Perry was also an outsider in the 80s, but today the transvestite potter is a celebrated artist. Jo takes us on a personal tour around the artist's early pots, prints, tapestries and sculptures – sharing her admiration for his ability to turn outrageous social observation into beautiful works of art.
