CM tweet condolences to family of CFO

On Sunday midnight, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted his condolences to the family of Sunil Nesarikar, Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the Mumbai Fire Brigade who passed away of Sunday afternoon.

MUMBAI: On Sunday midnight, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted his condolences to the family of Sunil Nesarikar, Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the Mumbai Fire Brigade who passed away of Sunday afternoon. Nesarikar who battling for life in the burns hospital in Airoli where he was admitted on May 9,on account of being injured during the Kalbadevi Blaze and subsequent building collapse.

On Monday around 1.37 am, Fadnavis from his official Twitter account tweeted, @Dev_Fadnavis, "My deepest condolences to the family of braveCFO Sunil Nesarikar who sacrificed his life for saving lives in Kalbadevi Fire. Saluting CFO Sunil!" read the tweet.
On Monday morning the Guard of Honour to demised Fire Chief Nesarikar shall be held tentatively at 10am at Fire Brigade Headquarters. Byculla and the last rites shall be performed at Chandanwadi crematorium at about 12noon. Nesarikar was survived by his mother, wife Jayashree and son Sidhant.
