The Yankees honored former center fielder Bernie Williams before Sunday night’s game against the Rangers, inducting him into Monument Park at Yankee Stadium. Former teammates Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera were among those on hand to celebrate Williams’ career.

Williams, now 46, retired after the 2006 season. He had a 16-year major league career, spent entirely with the Yankees. He hit .297/.381/.477 with 287 home runs, 1,257 RBI, and 147 stolen bases across 9,053 plate appearances. He was just as good in the post-season, batting .275/.371/.480 with 22 home runs, 80 RBI, and eight stolen bases in 545 PA.
