: Union Minister for Environment and Forest Prakash Javedkar will address a public function here on May 27 being held as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) nation-wide programme to mark the first anniversary of the Narendra Modi government.
A press release issued by BJP district president K. Ranjith here on Sunday said the Minister would inaugurate the public function at the Navaneetham Auditorium. Various welfare schemes of the Union government would also be explained at the function, the release said.
BJP State president V. Muralidharan, former presidents P.K. Krishnadas and C.K. Padmanabhan and party secretary K. Surendran will be among those who are expected to attend the function. — Special Correspondent
