Plan to rival Tiffany & Co and Links of London, as 111-year-old Danish watch and jewellery brand Georg Jensen is set to open clutch of new UK stores
An 111-year-old Danish watch and jewellery brand plans to rival Tiffany & Co and Links of London with plans to open a clutch of new stores in Britain.
Georg Jensen, founded in 1904 by a master silversmith of the same name, will open in the City of London’s Royal Exchange this week - with other stores to follow in Westfield in West London and in department store Harrods.

It is also relocating from Bond Street to Mount Street in Mayfair by the Autumn.
Chief executive David Chu said it has chosen the locations in a bid to reach ‘design conscious customers as well as tourists and the home customer base’.
