Shiv Sena MLA from Palghar passes away

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena MLA from Palghar Krushna Ghoda died of a cardiac arrest while returning to his Dahanu home after attending a wedding at Manor on Sunday. Four-time MLA Ghoda (64) complained of chest pain when his vehicle reached Charoti Naka on Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway around 2am. He was taken to a private hospital but died before admission.
Ghoda, a former NCP leader, had moved to Sena last year and won the Palghar assembly seat, which was with Congress since the 1990s.
