TOKYO -- Mitsubishi Corp. and Tokyo Electric Power have received an order to construct a large power plant in Qatar.
The project entails building a gas-fired plant with an output capacity of 2.4 million kilowatts and a seawater desalination plant near the capital of Doha at a cost of about 300 billion yen ($2.4 billion).
