Kuwait-Warning By The Ministry Against Plague Outbreak And Rodents Denied

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ministry of Health (MoH) has denied what has been posted on social media networks over the past two days that there is a warning by the ministry against plague outbreak and rodents' infestation in the country.

In a statement to KUNA on Friday, Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Dr Majda Al-Qattan said that what has been circulated is a repetition of reports that had been published on a local newspaper in October 2012.

She added that the ministry is constantly keen on combating rodents and insects by providing best pesticides to control such insects, noting this is part of the ministry's clear and comprehensive plan. She urged citizens to follow up the ministry's sources in order to receive true and reliable information, stressing that the ministry has spared no efforts to provide accurate and true information for citizens.
