Wigan coach Shaun Wane said his side’s defeat to Catalans Dragons represents one of his worst days in rugby league.
Wane pulled no punches in his assessment of the 58-16 capitulation in Perpignan, describing his team as "really, really poor".
The Warriors were outclassed on their way to their second heaviest Super League defeat by a Todd Carney-inspired Dragons outfit that ran in 10 tries in an outstanding performance.
Tony Gigot and Zeb Taia scored hat-tricks, while Fouad Yaha crossed twice, with Scott Dureau adding nine of 10 conversions.
While he was quick to praise the home side, Wane was left furious by the efforts of Wigan, who led 6-0 at one point following Josh Charnley's early converted try, with Dan Sarginson and Joe Burgess adding consolation scores.
"It was a bad day at the office today, one of the worst," said Wane.
"We were beaten by a far better team, they were more enthusiastic and ran hard and we weren't up for the physical battle today. You can't do that when you come here, you have to come here and be physical with them and we weren't.
"We were ill-disciplined and were really, really poor. We weren't getting tight in contact and it is refereed a different way over here, there is no doubt about that, but we know what we're dealing with over here and we just weren't up for the physical battle."
When asked if anyone impressed him during the game, Wane replied: "No, nobody, not one person.
"Our edge defence was the worst it's ever been and we didn't build any pressure throughout the game, our completions were poor and when we made an error, we didn't defend it well.
"They were by far the better team."
Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous was understandably delighted with the result.
"We showed today what we were capable of if we're all on the same page, defensively and offensively," he said.
