Senior geologist arrested for taking bribe

AJMER: A team from the ACB Jaipur on Friday arrested senior geologist of Rajasthan Department of Mines and Geology, Manoj Kumar Meena red handed with Rs 20,000 as bribe.
Complainant Phool Singh of Tantoti made the complaint against the official. Phool Singh wanted the examination report of mineral in Tantoti village of Ajmer and for producing the report, Meena allegedly demanded Rs 50,000.
Phool Singh made the complaint and paid the first installment of Rs 30,000 on the directions of ACB.On Friday, he came to deliver the remaining amount of Rs 20,000 to Meena. The ACB team caught the officer red handed. Meena has been arrested and now the team is investigating Meena's assets in different cities.
