About 40 GoAir passengers were left waiting at the city airport for four hours on Saturday evening after their
flight from
Jammu landed without 65
check-in bags. Flight G8-387 landed at 6.30 pm without the bags, said Rohit Kelkar, one of the complainants. “Initially, the airline staff did not help me with my complaint. Then, slowly when it emerged that the
bags of many more passengers were missing, they began to cooperate,” he said, adding that the affected passengers decided to stay put at the airport till their bags were returned.
“There were many small children among the stranded lot and we asked them to provide us with food, which the airline did,” he said. The passengers got their baggage at 10.30 pm. At the time of going to the press, GoAir had not responded to a query on the issue.
