Three busted in ‘prostitution scam’ death

Three lowlifes have been charged with murder for beating a man to death and leaving him under a mattress in a hotel near Penn Station in what NYPD detectives describe as a “prostitution scam” gone wrong, authorities said Friday.

Gabriel Pena, 27, and Jennifer Rodriguez, 28, were busted Friday for the May 18 death of Roderick Goodwin, 28, cops said. Christine O’Brien, 31, was collared Thursday.

Rodriguez confessed that she went to the hotel with the others planning to beat up someone and rob them and that accomplices carried out the hotel safe from Goodwin’s room, court papers say.

The victim had a record of 22 arrests.
