NASHIK: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday asked the civic officials in Nashik to complete all the work related to Kumbh Mela within the stipulated time.
CM took a quick review meeting of the developmental works with the officials after attending the convocation ceremony of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences(MUHS) here.
Assuring that there was no paucity of funds for the religious event, Fadnavis told the officials, “There is no shortage of funds.
Kumbh is approaching fast so all necessary facilities and basic infrastructure should be made available for the pilgrims.”
Minister of state for finance and planning Sudhir Mungantiwar, water resources minister and district guardian minister Girish Mahajan, additional chief secretary and president of the central committee Anand Kulkarni, secretary of the chief minister Pravin Darade, divisional commissioner Eknath Davle, commissioner of police S Jagannathan, district collector Deependra Singh Kushwah, municipal commissioner Praveen Gedam and others were present for the meeting.
