No more posters on Metro pillars: KCR

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday, while responding to an observation made by the Hyderabad Metro Rail Managing Director N.V.S. Reddy, announced that no posters displaying photographs of him or his Cabinet colleagues would henceforth, be permitted on the Metro Rail pillars or in other places in the city.

He said a similar appeal would be made to other political parties.

According to a HMR press release issued here at an interactive and feedback session on ‘Swachh Hyderabad’ held here, Mr. Reddy observed that indiscriminate pasting of posters had marred the beauty of aesthetic Metro Rail pillars and the city, and suggested there should to be a political will and voluntary ban by leaders on such posters.

The Chief Minister said photographs of his or his party members would henceforth not be pasted on the pillars
