Murder case witness attacked

Dilip Kumar (26), a witness in a murder case related to red sanders smuggling, was attacked with knives and sickles by a group of eight men, near BTR colony in Mangalam area on Friday.

According to the police, Dilip is among the main witnesses in the murder case that claimed the life of his uncle. Eight months ago, Dilip's uncle was hacked to death by a group of red sanders smugglers and a case was registered at Chandragiri police station. On Friday morning, Dilip had a drink with his friends and while leaving the place, he was attacked. He was shifted to SVIMS Hospital.
