Funeral for Roman Campbell who died in Beenhleigh house fire

A boy who died on his second birthday in a devastating house fire south of Brisbane will be farewelled on Saturday.

Roman Campbell died in his cot when flames engulfed his family's home at Beenleigh on May 14.

The tragedy sparked an outpouring of grief in the community, which has rallied together to raise funds for the service.

Roman's parents, Jaryd Campbell and Belinda Warwick, had been living in Queensland for only four months when they lost their son and possessions.

They had fallen on tough times in NSW and had moved north for a fresh start.

Roman's family has invited anyone affected by the tragedy to join them at Saturday's service.
