BANGALORE: There are more than 2 lakh cars sold in India every month. But every car buyer won’t purchase the same car. Earlier, selling a car in India was a big deal even the global leaders such as Ford and General Motors have failed to sell their cars in Indian market. However, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai narrowed down the right ingredients for the bestselling car models.

Here are the iconic cars that are sold million apiece in Indian car market, reports Cartoq.

5. Hyundai Santro Xing

The South Korean auto maker Hyundai stands at the fourth spot in global car sales. Hyundai is the familiar name in India because of their contribution of premium cars to the buyers. The ‘Hyundai Santro Xing’ is the second car that debuted in the country after ‘Santro’.

The Santro Xing was manufactured for 15 long years, in those years it managed to sell about 1.35 million units. The car was loved for many reasons, for its good looks, snappy petrol engine and it is hatchback which is best for tackling the slowing moving traffic. The production of this car was stopped two years ago and still we can find this hatch back on the streets.
