Indonesian estate worker drowns after falling into pond

    KINABATANGAN: An Indonesian estate worker drowned after he fell into a pond at Sime Darby's Suan Limba estate in Sukau, today.
    Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station chief Syamzari Ghani said Mohd Daman Huri, 20, was found by the oil palm plantation worker at 12.15pm.
    Syamzari said six firemen in a fire engine were deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 10.26am.
    The case will be handed over to the police and Mohd Daman's body was sent to the Kinabatangan Hospital. – Bernama
