Sam Allardyce has admitted he's already sold his apartment in Canary Wharf. His agent will attend a meeting on Monday with the West Ham owners

Sam Allardyce accepts that his future as manager of West Ham will be decided on Monday “one way or other.”

However, he says he will not be attending any meetings with the club’s owners David Sullivan and David Gold, preferring to leave those matters to his agent.

Despite guiding the Hammers into a mid-table position in the Premier League, Big Sam has been under pressure for most of the season with many of the London club’s fans wanting him sacked.

West Ham end their campaign on Sunday with an away trip to Newcastle, after which the 60-year-old will be jetting off on a family holiday.

Asked about Bank Holiday Monday, Allardyce told a press conference: “I won't be having a meeting but my agent will be available to speak to the owners.

"Because the season is finishing so late, I am taking the opportunity to go to Spain with my grandchildren. What will be, will be.

“I am hopeful it is not my final game but we will wait and see. The full situation will be resolved next week so we will have to wait and see.

“It will all be sorted Monday – it will sorted one way or another on Monday.”

Among those touted as being a likely replacement, in the event of Allardyce leaving Upton Park, are David Moyes, Slaven Bilic, Rafa Benitez and Michael Laudrup.

Allardyce added: “Tomorrow it will probably be Carlo Ancelotti linked with my position. It is their decision. I have been comfortable with it. I haven't got a problem with it.

"I can't affect that and, by early next week, the situation will be sorted. As a manager distractions are something that you put aside all the time. Being paid to do your job is what you're here for.

"I'm hopeful Newcastle won't be my final game but we'll wait and see."

He also cleared up why he has to vacate his Canary Wharf flat this weekend, all of which has fuelled the belief that his West Ham days are almost over.

He pointed out: "It's bound to bring up speculation but the apartment was sold around two months ago.

"In the contract there was a two-month notice period which meant that I should have been out on the 15th but they extended it for me until the end of the season.

"The apartment has been bought and I had to move out one way or the other. I can only say what the truth is, if you want to ring up (estate agents) Morgan Randall and ask if the apartment has been sold, give them a ring."
