Woman found dead

May 22, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:52 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The body of a 38-year-old tribal woman, Sunitha of Kalankavu, was found this morning in a hut in the tribal settlement where she was living.

The Palode police said neighbours had heard her partner Suresh and brother Surendran, reportedly in an inebriated condition, arguing with Sunitha.

They did not interfere since brawls were a regular affair. However, they found the woman lying still in the hut in the morning and called in a ‘108’ ambulance.

The paramedics on the ambulance called the police saying she was dead.

The police then shifted the body to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. Both Suresh and Surendran were absconding, the police said.
