Meet the 900 PS Mansory S63 AMG Coupé, makes more torque than Bugatti Veyron!

The standard Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupé is pretty powerful and fast in its own right. Merc has packed in a 5.5-litre V8 that has got two turbos attached to it. Result of that is 585 PS of power and an impressive 900 Nm of torque. This means 0-100 km/h is tackled in just 4.3 seconds and the top speed is electronically-limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). This kind of performance is generally considered pretty brisk. However, in the tuning world of Mansory, every car deserves the right to make a little bit more power. With that mentality in mind, Mansory has offered one of their performance upgrade packages to the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupé.

The cabin is pretty undramatic for a Mansory. That said, there is some carbon-fibre.

The tuning house has changed the look of the regular S63 AMG Coupé, but haven’t gone overboard with it. The Mansory edition gets the ubiquitous bodykit. This means there’s loads of carbon-fibre bits on the outside and massive 22-inch alloys. They are housed inside equally large flared wheel arches and the bumpers too get revised to look even more muscular. There are a million scoops, cuts and creases all over the outside to aid with aerodynamics and style, of course.

The quad tailpipes, rear diffuser, boot-lip spoiler and those cuts in the body aren’t just for show.

For those of you who are used to Mansory cars from before, might find the exterior to be a bit less shouty. We think the tuning house did the right job and spent most of their time and resources, on the mechanicals. Because this slightly unassuming-looking Mercedes Coupé, makes more torque than a Bugatti Veyron! You see, what Mansory has done is pump in a good amount of steroids and then sent this car to the gym with a mean instructor. Everything from the crankshaft, conrods, turbochargers, bearings, bushings, the suction and compression systems have ALL been replaced. All of this is part of the ‘M900’ package and apart from being ridiculously expensive, you can expect loads of powerrrr!

It’s mostly all about the engine. This one just happens to produce 1300 Nm of twist!

The 5.5-litre V8 now chucks out a colossal 900 PS of max power and 1300 Nm of torque. What’s even more impressive, is that all of this torque is available right from 1600 rpm. But the most surprising fact is that Mansory has actually placed an electronic anvil at 1300 Nm. These Germans really have a sense of humour. The effect of all this tuning and aero kits mean that the Mansory S63 AMG Coupé can hit 100 km/h in just 3.3 secs. Top speed has to be capped at 300 km/h (186 mph) for safety reasons. And just to refresh your memory, the standard 16.4 Bugatti Veyron makes 1250 Nm of torque. Anyway, we have attached a small gallery below for your viewing pleasure.
