CII to holds ICDS session

Puducherry,May 21 (UNI)The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Puducherry along with KPMG will be organizing a “Session on Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) & Income Computation and Disclosure Standards (ICDS)” here tomorrow. According to a CII release here today the Objective of the Session is to enable industry an opportunity to listen from regulators, policy makers and professional firms on the latest developments and way forward on Ind AS/ICDS in India. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs recently announced a revised roadmap for implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), converged with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This roadmap is applicable to companies other than banking companies, insurance companies and non-banking finance companies. Mr Sailendra Mamidi, Principal Commissioner & Additional In-Charge, Income Tax Department, Chennai & Puducherry, Mr Darshan Varma, Director, KPMG India, Mr Akil Master, Director, KPMG India, Mr Vinay Gulati, Associate Director, KPMG India, Mr S Narasimhan, Chairman, CII Puducherry & Managing Director, Sattva Logistics Pvt.
