Ex-‘Fresh Prince’ star Ribeiro gets ‘Funniest Home Videos’ gig

Former “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” co-star Alfonso Ribeiro will be the new host of ABC’s creaky clip show “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

Ribeiro, 43, will replace “Dancing With the Stars” host Tom Bergeron, who had previously announced he was leaving “America’s Funniest” after hosting the show for the past 14 years.

Ribeiro, who co-starred on “Fresh Prince” for six years (1990-96), also won last year’s “Dancing With the Stars,” where he was paired with professional hoofer Witney Carson.

“America’s Funniest” is one of ABC’s oldest shows, premiering with original host Bob Saget in 1989.
