VHP plans to start medical, engineering colleges in State

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Pravin Togadia has said that five medical colleges and 10 engineering colleges will be established in the State with the cooperation of various Hindu organisations.

He was speaking to presspersons after visiting Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan at his residence at Kanichukulangara here on Wednesday.

Mr. Togadia said that the organisation aimed at launching educational institutions in Alappuzha and Idukki in the initial phase. He would be visiting the district again next month for discussions on the project. He said the organisation intended to focus on progress in the health and education sectors.
