Jamia Vice-Chancellor Talat Ahmed given additional charge of University of Orissa

BHUBANESWAR: The incumbent Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University, Talat Ahmed, has been assigned the additional charge of VC of Central University of Orissa, Koraput.

The President in the capacity as Visitor has appointed Ahmad as the Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Orissa, Koraput (CUO) for the interim period till the appointment of a new Vice-Chancellor, a CUO release said today.

Earlier Ahmad, an earth scientist who had served at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi, was the Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir.
