20 seats under fisheries engineering programme

College of Fisheries Engineering and Technology, Nagapattinam, will admit 20 students under the B.E.-Fisheries Engineering programme for the 2015-16 academic year, according to Baskaran Manimaran, Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Fisheries University (TNFU).

Launching the distribution of application for the colleges and institutes attached to the university on Tuesday here, he said students could download the applications atwww.tnfu.ac.in.

The last date for receiving filled-in applications is June 17.

In addition to the engineering degree, 60 seats under the B.F.Sc programme were offered to the students, said C.A.Shanmugam, Controller of Examinations. Mr.Manimaran said that counselling for fisheries courses would be conducted in the third week of July.
