Harris Specialized Student Solutions Appoints New Director of Sales to Expand the CTE/Adult Education Market

Darla Gettle to Lead National Sales Initiative

Harris School Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Darla Gettle as Director of Sales for the Specialized Student Solutions division. In her new role, Ms. Gettle is responsible for leading the national sales effort to expand market opportunities for Harris' suite of specialized student systems, including ClassMate, Harris' flagship career, technical and adult education student solution.

Ms. Gettle brings over 20 years of experience in career, technical and adult education to the Harris Specialized Student Solutions team, as well as eight years of industry experience in the IT field. Having recently achieved her Career and Technical Administrative Director certification from Penn State University, Ms. Gettle will offer recommendations for establishing school policies and procedures that foster consistency and standardization, while promoting student achievement and teacher effectiveness. With more than 10 years of experience using the ClassMate secondary and adult education product, Darla will help clients to establish best practices for addressing CTE Programs of Study and Adult Ed data compliance.

Ms. Gettle earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a master's degree in Secondary School Counseling from West Chester University, and holds numerous teaching certifications. Having been a teacher, counselor, work-based learning coordinator, and PIMS compliance administrator, Darla understands the unique needs and perspectives of key stakeholders, including how to build efficiencies in school operations and promote accountability across all levels of an organization.
