Two people died after an explosion in a tanker which had come for repairing at RCF area in Eastern Mumbai.

MUMBAI: Two people died after an explosion in a tanker which had come for repairing at RCF area in Eastern Mumbai.
The RCF police said that the incident took place at around 12 pm in the Gadkari area of Chembur. The tanker was brought there for welding work. Police said that the work was in progress when it exploded. It was an empty tanker. Several others were also injured in the blast and taken to hospital.

The police added that their priority was to get the victims admitted to the hospital and investigation into the accident had begun.
