Allu Arjun, Charan like to chill in Bengaluru

South stars love to unwind in Bengaluru
Allu Arjun, Charan like to chill in Bengaluru
Often, the party circuits in Hyderabad and Chennai joke about Bengaluru being their own desi Las Vegas. Partying aside, what with its Pub City tag, Bengaluru is also favoured for its cool climate and the non-starry-eyed population. Little wonder then that stars from the other south Indian cities love to hang out in namma city. Since the past week, Telugu star Allu Arjun has been relaxing in Bengaluru.
Sources say that the actor, after the release of his film S/O Sathyamurthy, wanted to take a break and preferred to do that in the city. The actor has been chilling out in the city, unwinding and sparingly working out at an upmarket gym in central Bengaluru. This time, he hasn’t chosen his family farmhouse on the outskirts of the city for this. In fact, he was even joined by his brother Sirish over the weekend. Sirsh told us, “I like the vibe of the city, it isn’t as laidback as Hyderabad; it isn’t as hectic as Mumbai either.” Recently, his cousin Ram Charan too chose Bengaluru to unwind for a while, between films. At that time, he chose to stay at his family farmhouse in Devanahalli. He had then told us, “Every summer, I disconnect from everything and everyone and just prepare for my films. I go cycling, work out at the gym, and train here. More importantly, I’m here because I love Bengaluru. It is a beautiful city and the climate is just brilliant.” In fact, Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi and his family use their farmhouse for an annual meeting every year, he added. Rana Daggubati, too, says that Bengaluru has been an unwind zone for him. Telugu stars aren’t the only ones who choose to hang out in the city. A lot of Kollywood also chooses Bengaluru for silent trips to unwind. Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth too loves to unwind in Bengaluru with his old friends and acquaintances. He, apparently, has two places that he frequents. While he has an apartment in central Bengaluru, he also has a family farmhouse on the outskirts. Filmmaker Mani Ratnam also frequents the city to chill out. The filmmaker has a special attachment to the city, since his first film was made here, and he’s loves catching up with old acquaintances. Younger actors like Siddharth and Simbu also frequent the city with their set of friends, both filmi and non-filmi and have their favourite hangouts. In fact, Siddharth and his friends have often been spotted at some of the city hotspots unwinding over a game of foosball. Simbu, too, prefers the city for he can hang out without being bothered much. “When I was younger, I used to love walking down the happening spaces like Brigade Road and MG Road, but I cannot do that now. Though, I do like coming here and chilling out now with my friends,” says Simbu, who was recently in the city with his friends that included actor Mahat Raghavendra. The Malayalam film industry too is favouring Bengaluru not just for shoots, but for chilling out too. Recently wed couple Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya spoke about how they have purchased a holiday home in the city and are currently in the process of setting it up.
