Two-time Olympian Allison Schmitt and Chase Kalisz confirmed to Swimming World that they will join new Arizona State swim coach Bob Bowman to train in Tempe for the 2016 Olympics.

Bowman will continue to train 22-time Olympic medalist Michael Phelps, Schmitt and Kalisz among others at North Baltimore Aquatic Club through the World Championships and Philips 66 National Championships before all will be making the move to ASU in late summer.

Schmitt is a six-time Olympic medalist including three golds (200 freestyle, two relays) at the 2012 London Games. She grew up in Canton, Mich., and swam in college at Georgia. At the Arena Pro Series meet in Mesa in April, Schmitt was second in the 100 free and third in the 200 and 400 free.

Kalisz is taking 2015-16 off from Georgia as an Olympic redshirt. He was a silver medalist (400 IM) at the 2013 World Championships. He is on the U.S. team for 2015 Worlds, Aug. 2-9 in Kazan, Russia.
