A 9-year-old violin marvel delighted residents at Wedgewood Retirement Community Sunday.

Jack Forestier, once a semi-finalist on Canada’s Got Talent, said he was honoured to play for the crowd.

Forestier first started playing when he was just 2-years-old.

“I just kept getting better and better and loving it even more and more.

“It just turned out to be my life.”

“He’s cute but he is a very formidable musician for such a young age,” Jack’s dad, Michel, smiled.

“It is always an adventure to see where we are going with this.”

Michel said that the family was classically trained musicians but also performed fiddle music.

“It is just more on the fun side.”

Jack said that he enjoyed performing and sharing his gift with others.

Something he plans to do for a long time.

“I always hear I do a great job and I need to keep it up.

“I am always going to play violin.”
